From Ninoike to Tanohara

Arrive at Nino-ike.
It makes the lake more beautiful to take a closer look at.

That looks like snow, but white sand.

The summit seen from Nino-ike.

If you return to your trekking route, you have to go up as much as you decended from the summit to Nino-ike.
So go up around and back to the hut on the top.
If you want to use the gondola, take the route toward Ontake Gondola, but your destination is not Tanohara parking.
The top became very foggy afternoon.
Takes 40 minutes from Nino-ike back to the top.
We tried to go back to the summit, but everything was white-out by dense fog.
That is very common on Japanese mountains, particularly in summer.
A couple of hours determines how far you are impressed.
So conquer to the summit in earlier day is fully recommended.
The hot spring which dropped in at a return.
