From Summit to Yakushidake
This route is busier because of easier route by using gondola.
Here is also good point for colourful leaves.
There are a lot of rocks and stones, but easy to trail with gentle slope and some area paved.
Gondola station for Adatara Express, which transports between Oku-dake and Yakushi-dake, is in the middle.
5 minutes walk between the station and Yakushi-dake.
Arrive at Yakushi-dake (1360M).
Mt. Adatara is seen behind.
Tetsu-zan and Minowa-san are seen behind colourful leaves.
From Yakushidake to Okudake
Descend through colourful trees from Yakushi-dake.
Arrive at Goyomatsudaira for a while.
From here, rocks with different steps make foot quite tired.
The hut is on the left after through the forest. Go down on ski slope.
Follow the sign of Okudake back to the start point.
Finally arrive at the gondola station and parking.
Mt. Adatara under sunset.
